the world is sick, sick, so kiss me quick

this week has been rather eventful, considering my life is usually a pretty steady stream of same old same old. here's the gist. josh and i got our dream apartment. it's a palace. we have big plans. we will need all our tall friends, however, to come help us decorate, because we are too small for the 20 feet ceilings. we will look like ants. i'm pretty excited about it.

oh, and i am getting a tattoo on tuesday. erin designed it and it's soo beautiful. i am terrified of the pain factor, but i'm mainly excited. how bad can it be, right?

8 days until vancouver.

last night was good times. i kissed two boys. my german boyfriend again. you know when there's every reason in the world that you should love someone, but you just don't? yeah, how annoying. i mean, this boy is pretty much perfect: sexy accent, good hair, funny, and get this, writing his masters thesis on feminism and sexuality in the early 20th century. oh my goddess. but still, nothing. hmm, weird. oh, and josh, but that was just experimental. we were bragging about who was the better kisser and there was only one way to end the battle. goddess i love that boy.

today i am going for breakfast with the phil's crew, because it is derek's birthday. happy birthday d-dawg! it will be strange to see some of these people in the sober light of day.

yesterday at work, i stood outside for four hours, one step away from heat stroke, giving out samples of frappa-fuckin-ccinos. and these idiots take their cups of sugar and fat, smile at me, then step into the glorious air conditioning. i was too bitter to be the hostess with the mostest by the end of the day. i regained some of my regular charm after a cold shower and a litre of water. ahhh.

my mom is coming to see me today. nice mama.

time for some clothes. and i should probably do something about this face before i step out in public.
